Im off out to friends for dinner so Im not sure what we are eating for main but I did say I would take along pudding.
The plum tree has a very good crop so Ive pan roasted some in brown sugar and cinnamon, once they were soft I drained off the juices and put in a pan with some port and reduced to a syrup....it tastes lovey!
Ive made meringues and homemade custard ( with the egg yolks) - I would have whipped up some cream to go in it but my delivery driver this morning dropped it - it went everywhere! He was really embarrassed
