Which ones?

I’d  grow the items you eat the most of, plus any that are expensive to buy.

Unfortunately it’s all expensive to buy. A bog standard white cabbage in our local shop is over £2   . A lettuce that turns into a green slimy puddle in less than 3 days is over £1.50. 
hence the want to grow my own again. Even when things are a little tricky to do so
