It was really cold last week and although I have been trying to put my anemones in there's been little rain... what I've dug over has already returned to concrete and even with my sharp trowel I'm finding it difficult. My hori hori knife might help hereThey look fabulous Scarlet - and so well advanced.
On the weekend I made a sweetpea wall - yes, I am crossing my fingers that it doesn't get blown down. I am trying to save space...to pick from both sides I will have to climb under the support poles
Pictures of my 24 daucus and 24 ammi plants planted through membrane. Spaced a foot apart, domino pattern, 4 in a row. I burnt holes with a plumber torch. 60cm spacing for a path before my sweet pea wall. I used some old wire mesh fence for the peas to climb up. I'll tie in as they grow.
