Good luck making head or tail of that  Wink
I like the "Make ?? high - I can reach into it without steps" and it looks like Bob's place is in the bottom left part of the cupboard.  Smile
Ha ha I can see why you’d think I’ve made a cubbyhole for Bob. It actually says 30cm.  Big Grin . But now you’ve given me the idea.........  Wink

My second something new for the week. I’ve been polishing. No not just house work ( although that does need doing). Boat shuttles for a loom.

Hopefully you can see a slight difference.

First time we played a game over the phone with our grandson. 'Genius Square', a cross between tetras and noughts&crosses. Each game takes roughly a minute. It's a bit dear at £17.

Week 3
This week is a bit feeble, but as the heated props are up and running, I put a lemon seed (lemon drizzle is this week's cake) on some damp paper in a plastic bag to see what might happen!

New things week 3

Following on from last week's pinhead oatmeal, I found cooking up small batches tedious so put a generous amount in the slow cooker and left it to percolate. Turned out fine but if I do it again will reduce cooking time and reduce liquid.

Set up grow light thingy.

Week 3 - Followed a Recipe (almost).
Its time to explore my Hodmedod's so I've started with the thing I have the most of - Split Yellow peas.

https://hodmedods.co.uk/blogs/recipes/da...24d4&_ss=r
Couldn't follow the recipe exactly as I didn't have any fresh ginger (used powdered instead); no dried chillies or garlic. I do have elephant garlic but I forgot it at the time.
Also all my spices were years out of date. Haven't added any spinach yet - there's some on the GH and chard - must pick some before this evening's meal.
I burnt the cumin seeds -they're black - and a litre of water for the peas was way too much!! I knew there was a reason why I don't try to cook from a recipe.Wink

I used the strained pea water, to make pea soup for lunch with some leftover mashed potato from last night.

That looks nice. I’ve bookmarked that. I’ve got chickpeas , not split though. I’ll have to wait until my spinach grows.

Week 3
I cleaned the filter on my Hoover. That doesn’t happen often
