Along the canal today, this pair seemed to be practising their hissing. No parents in sight. They are a bit grey in the picture.

   

We put up a bee house in the spring and a few of the holes are already occupied.
A bee here stuffing bit of leaf into one.

The Shropshire union near to Bunbury. On the way back, there were several people waiting on a bridge over the railway to photograph a steam train on it way to Chester.
