Is it the strikes of a clock, but I still can't see it
12 strikes for 12 o'clock
1 for the ¼ hr
1 for the ½ hr
1 for the ¾ hr
Next should be 1 for 1 o'clock so my sequence is wrong
Gardening is an excuse not to do housework

Not at all Vinny, it took umpteen clues and I still got it wrong  Rolleyes no matter, look forward to the next one. Pros is the master though.

What is the reason for the following classification of letters into rows?

I've enlarged the Font to see if that helps but, unfortunately, there are a few letters that don't conform to the answer.  The letters to ignore are G and Q
