They're beautiful. Hard to believe that your garden is so "young" but produces so much. Almost makes me wish I grew flowers.

My word! What an abundance. Are the peachy daisy like ones in the first photo calendula? If so what type?
PS that's about the quantity of flowers I get form my garden during the whole summer.

I had a lovely show of flowers grown from seed at the allotment last year. This year I would like to devote a couple of beds to cut flowers for home and for a grave.
I would like to grow long lasting cut flowers and don't know whether to rely on seed mixes which will be annuals, or to buy plug plants of perennials which would be more expensive but hopefully I would only need to speculate once? Any ideas?

Thanks veggie I have ordeeed some more cheap flower seeds to go with the half dozen packets I have aquired and will start sowing these, probably today? I decided to forgo the plug plants as they were too expensive and need too much looking after. So I am not only a tight git, but also a lazy git!
