Mum once had an unidentified plant in the garden, she was an experienced plants woman so if she didn't know what it was, it must have been extremely unusual. Consensus was that it was likely a C plant. The neighbour (who was on self prescribed medicinal C for pain) kindly took it away for her. My mother high as a kite would have been a sight to behold, she was mad enough without drugs!

I am sure that when I was a kid Trill bird seed had c seeds in it. I remember a strange to me (I was about 7 years old ?) plant growing where my uncle had thrown the stuff from the bottom of the bird cage on the garden!

I bought some ‘All green bush’ Courgette seeds this morning. I’ll be growing them in recycling boxes.

My friend sent me 24 packets of seeds. All flowers for cutting and / or drying. And all to be sown this month.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

Forum I have sinned. Aldi had bulbs and plants for sale. I bought a pack of 30 gladioli bulbs for £1.89 and bag of 3 lupin roots also £1.89. Neither of them special varieties, but with my limited success with both glads and lupins, it was a relatively cheap experiment (again). I may have done this before in previous years. My garden balance is shot for this month.

I picked up some seeds from Lidl
Dwarf and climbing nasturtiums
Matador spinach
Dwarf hybrid zinnias
Super cheap at 29p a packet, I've grown them before and always have good germination

Went to a Seed Swap
Spent £10 on 4 packets of seeds from the Wales Seed Hub and picked up 31 other packets of seeds for nowt! Most of these are out of date but there's nothing to lose by trying to grow them. About half of them are from Real Seeds so I have confidence that they were packed and harvested on the date it says - not lying around in some foreign warehouse until they were shipped to some of the big boys.
The Moneyless Chicken says:-
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.
