Surely they could source the coriander & mint in the UK!

OUT went two large cardboard boxes and packing paper for someone moving. Once again, I got the best side of the swap. Big Grin
I need to get me a Prawn lady! Big Grin

The Prawn Lady gave me more food today!!
Four litres of milk, Alpro yogurt x 3, 2 punnets of baby plum tomatoes, 2 tubs of Moroccan spicy salad, Veggie mince" and 2 packs of Scotch pancakes.
I also picked up a bag of paperbacks from the free book & clothes church which just happens to be around the corner from the Prawn Lady. Big Grin
One of the books is " Why Men don't listen & Women can't read maps". Should be interesting!!

I wonder if your Prawn Lady gets enough from her grocery box that she and her family like to make it worthwhile. You certainly get some lovely loot.

She must do or I'm sure she wouldn't keep buying it. She & family don't seem to like vegetables much, especially avocados, definitely don't like prawns, probably not yogurt or unusual cheeses. They don't have pork in the house because the oldest boy has a Muslim girlfriend, but I know that they have other meat in their parcels. They don't eat the vegan meats.
The bags of herbs aren't much good for anything as they're a bit tired and battered so I feed them to the worms. Five bags of spinach the other day went to the worms too - I did eat some but not enough to make a difference.
There's often a bag of ginger roots too - which she has said she doesn't know how to use. I have lots of it here, waiting for it to sprout!
She also has a Food Bank parcel delivered - the most common items seem to be tinned tomatoes, beans, soup, peaches, custard, mashed potato. I take some to the £5 Pantry for others to have.

IN today, 3 fleece blankets for the dogs' beds.
Also a "Pinch of Nom Food Planner". I "may" use this to record my FREE meals for 6 months (as that's how many pages it has).
Amusingly, only the first page has entries on it. The weight has been crossed out, "This week she would like to achieve "Stick to plan and begin exercise" and she had Butternut Squash soup for lunch. Even I manage to keep a diary going for more than one day. Big Grin

Yesterday IN came some Vanilla chai tea and a 3 pound bag of Almond flour. (Not sure what I'll do with this but it sounds nice and nutty!
Today, I've been to the Prawn lady - 3 packs of prawns!, some veggie mince, coconut yogurt, Yakult drink things (never tried this), lemon cheesecake, tropical fruit salad, echalion shallots, mixed bag of carrot, broccoli & cauliflower and a large box of rocket (the one thing I have lots of in the GH). Wonder what cooked rocket is like???

I have a cup of Chi tea first thing every morning. Cool It's made with Chi tea bags though (with a drop of cream) as the powdered stuff is full of sweetener.

What would you do without the 'Prawn Lady' Big Grin
