Me too, not something I'd never eat again, and I do like lettuce.

I liked lettuce soup. You have to make sure the lettuce hasn't gone bitter.
How about braised lettuce https://realfood.tesco.com/recipes/braised-lettuce.html
Lettuce wraps https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/tuna-mayo-wraps

Guess what came IN today? Two more Iceberg lettuces! I gave away 3 yesterday so I'm down to 3 and a half now.
Also IN 3 different cheeses, one of those triangular tins of ham, red lentils, tins of soup, custard, rice pudding and pears, apples, avocadoes, radish, a lemon, cut chives, coriander and parsley, peanut butter, tea bags, instant mash, creme brulee and salmon fishcakes - that's tonight's meal sorted!

That's you set for a week or so, shame you don't eat ham, but I'm sure there'll be someone to appreciate it. Are you insistent on cheese being veggie?

IN today came some more food from the Prawn Lady - 5 boxes of prawns, Cheddar cheese, spinach, rocket, curly kale, stir fry mix, watermelon, and pomegranates. She had bought two "Too Good to Go" bags from Morries at 2am this morning! Apparently they were selling bags of bread and cakes for £2 so she'd bought two, one for me. The "catch" was that I had to take her to Morries to pick them up! Seemed like a good deal for me. When we got there, there were no bags - they'd already been taken, even though she'd paid for them. To be fair to Morries, they put up 2 more bags with fresh items from the display. After swapping a few items between us, I ended up with a loaf, bread rolls, custard doughnuts and fresh cream apple turnovers. Happy with that!!
For Vinny, the battered fish fingers are on offer again - 4 packs for £5 (£1.25 for 8 fingers).
