Took advantage of Mr. F's £1 sale and discount code and bought rust resistant antirrhinum for my bedding next year, Primula courgette, supposedly resistant to powdery mildew and as I'm planning on growing fewer courgette plant next year, I thought I might get ahead of the mildew saga, and carrot gold nugget just because I like the look of them.

I bought 10 pansies from Aldi. Couldn't resist. I might regret it when they're all eaten.

I swapped an avocado & lemon plant . Asking for a couple of ground cover plants in exchange. I end up with golden creeping sedum, creeping phlox, another type of sedum, (not sure what, leaves slightly tinted orange ), lemon balm, geranium, pink phlox, Japanese anemone & alstroemerias. And not 1 or 2 . More like 5 or 6 of each. Incredibly generous. And apparently I’m getting some gladioli as well.

Bought some YS plants in Morries today. 25p each. A Tayberry, Honeyberry, Aronia and 2 dianthus. They're in the GH at the mo as they need some TLC but for £1.25 I thought I'd take a gamble.

Also got 4 mackerel from someone that wanted to borrow the trolley Jack. Today we got another 5 mackerel and a pollock from the neighbours.

My Tornado overwintering onion sets arrived today but instead of about 100 as advertised there were only 52? They were BIG sets though, but still I complained about the advertised 'Approx 100 sets' for the weight. Big Up to Plevey's Garden World who replied quickly and said they would despatch another lot straight away.
Result, hopefully!

I've ordered 20, 30 litre heavy duty pots https://www.oaklandgardens.co.uk/30-litr...4401-p.asp
Use Code Simplify30 and they cost £30 for 10. Must add £60 to my year's expenditure.
I've bought these previously and they're really solid and easy to move with the handles. I need more for converting GH2 into a big pot GH instead of beds.
