I'll win the best dressed garden comp, but not the prettiest. Today's plan is planting, planting, planting but then will sweetcorn and beans like a possible 2 - 4°? Decisions decisions. I found the challenge pumpkin in a pot all forgotten (sorry SC) I'll bung him in somewhere today. Outrageous treatment of a pumpkin .

Hoed over the side border of the house that I had hand weeded yesterday. Utilised all the flower packets I had left (5) and broadcast them over the area.
I still have one packet of night scented stock left which I will sow close to the french doors and kitchn window.

Pulled up more grass, dock and nettles at the far end of the garden. I need to clear enough to be able to find the raspberries!
Planted some CFBs and a few peas. Watered & fed the tomatoes in the GH.

Planted up a couple of cockscombs in individual pots. Put a climbing rope up for the golden pippin squash. Potted on some of the spare plants that seem to be doing well. Despite the neglect. Filled up the sales Barrow.

Potted up some Emilie and Spacemaster cucumbers, Disco Squash, Trombas and a stray courgette.
Put net bags on some baby peaches.
Topped up the compost in 2 potato pots.
More weeding!

Tidied up the remaining side of gh2 in prep for planting tomorrow. Who knew I had so much rubbish, all very important rubbish, mind you.

Emptied out the entire contents of the compost dalek and spread it out over the bean and squash bed, ready for planting.
Constructed two more 2.4m A-frames for the shelling beans.
Sowed some borlotti beans. I find they dry much quicker than all the other beans, so I'm experimenting with a relatively late sowing this year.
