Planted some Aquadulce Broad bean seedlings in the first of the 2'6" -ish square beds. I say - ish because I've already over run the square!
Sowed some Aguadulce seeds alongside to square it up a bit!
Sowed some more of the same in modules in the GH.
Planted some rooted spring onions in the random onion patch.
Bunged a box of coir in a dustbin with water so that it can hydrate ready for some sowing action.

Planted most of the onion sets in modules, now in GH3 where they can stay until they have some green shoots.
Put the Charlotte potatoes in an eggbox to chit.
Bit colder today so not tempted to spend long in the garden.

Finished planting the onion sets in modules.
Re-fenced the bit where Spud was getting through into the neighbours garden - again.

Today was phase 1, moved 2 rhubarb. Finished the bed today, 4 gooseberries, a Blueberry, and I think a tayberry.
May be a tad too many but I plan to prune them if they survive!

Played hunt the stray raspberries and gave them a prune. I only pull up the ones that are in the way, all the rest are left to wander free. It allows me to forage as I meander around in summer. I chopped up the dead canes and added them to the path.

Yesterday I finished off preparing an 18' x 10' for planting. It has a rhubarb and clump of raspberries at one end. Last year it grew courgettes and dwarf beans, could be the same this year but swapped around.
Then I tackled a lilac that overhangs a small plot with 2 clematis and an acer. The clematis were happy enough as they had populated one of its branches but the acer was slowly being killed off. I'll need to dispose of the removed branches this morning.
