Tidied, cut back dead, and weeded cottage garden beds. Emptied out a hanging basket that had finished.
Moved a big rock.

Planted another Seven Sisters rose. Dug it it’s very own little bed next to the front fence in the cottage garden area. Planted a handful of tulip bulbs at the edge of its little bed.

If anyone has something similar that they are pleased with if you could mention supplier I would be obliged!

Today I pulled up more bramble suckers with the rake, so satisfying when the rooted tip comes out of the ground.
Planted some turmeric tubers in a pot.
De-seeded some sunflower heads.

Moved scrounged pallets to top of garden ready for processing into firewood and sticks!

Back to my 'skiprat' persona today . The skip I emptied of pallets a couple of days ago had been re-filled with various lengths of timber. As I was told"Just take whatever you like" the other day I didn't ask further permission for pillaging the skip today.
I dragged the timber out and sorted it into various lengths for carrying away. I aslo took the wheel barrow for the shorter lengths. As thhe skip was just up the road from me, I managed to carry it all home with a dozen trips!

Played with house plants - trimming dead leaves, taking cuttings of spider plants, repotting an easter cactus. Moving orchids out of the GH into the house.
