Well done for demonstrating. The water companies are all being exposed. You're now both famous or notorious, take your pick.

Yesterday was spent harvesting. I've neglected the beans for a few days so there were quite a few. Rain and wasps have decimated the raspberries so picked what I could.

Planted red cabbage and leeks Far be it from me to go off topic, but I see Russia has raised the age for subscription to the army. Move to Russia, you might get a job as cannon foddder

Today I collected some old fencing off someone up the street to be chopped up for the woodburner. I then ajusted the brakes on Fergie. After that I chopped sticks and sowed some old seeds of Spring cabbage..(two chances?) I also potted on a rather sad looking houseplant into a bigger pot. No idea what it's called though.

Edit Reason: Forgot Chard!
)
Thanks Vinny, but they'd have to raise the conscription age considerably for me to be eligible.
I pricked out some cauli seedlings (mixed old seeds), this morning.
Planted a lonely bean (the only one that grew from a jar of old seeds).
Planted chard seedlings in GH2
Weeded around some carrots and accidentally pulled out 10 or so teeny weenie carrot seedlings. I know they're not supposed to survive transplanting but they had to be given a chance...........I decided to treat them like leeks - dibber a hole, drop the seedling in and lightly pull the soil around it to keep it upright. Didn't bother with the watering business as I thought the tiny carrots would float away.
Cut my way into the courgette pit - the plants are exceedingly healthy. I have to trim off some leaves to wade through the plants. Walking on the hollow stems is quite satisfying - they pop.
Went out lunchtime to collect a freebie and by the time I came home it was raining heavily. Glad I didn't bother watering anything!

My cucs are lazy, they crawl or sit, I'm training mine to climb. One is determined to get back down to the floor from the roof for a lie down.
