A good friend gave me some beeswax from her hives as I had spoken to her about beeswax wraps for food .
Definitely going to give this ago.
Anyone made any wraps, know anything about how to make them, got any tips, please??

No idea, FEW, but I do have some beeswax somewhere.
OUT today went about 100 x 9cm flower pots. Pleased to see the back of them! He left me a potted lavender in exchange.

Could’ve used your 9cm pots for sweet peas!

You would have been very welcome to them. I'm sure I have more in the back of the shed.
Someone has asked for 6cm pots so that's my rummage for tomorrow.

IN came an enormous bag of dry dog food. Apparently it didn't agree with their dogs - it caused too much flatulence!! Hoping that my 3 have stronger stomachs - or I'll be feeding them outside.

Went to Church today to pick up some perishable leftovers.
Nobody fancied the Coquilles St Jacques (Hope I've spelled that correctly). They'll be on my menu tonight! Also collected yogurt, single cream, milk, Minced beef, falafel, Houmous, Guacamole, wild rocket, a pot of Almond butter and an assortment of bread rolls. That'll keep the Moneyless Chicken fed for a few days.
This church opens its doors at 9.30 for bacon rolls & tea/coffee and the food giveaway starts at 10. Apparently, people were queuing at 8am. I was last but one to arrive at 10.30 and was No 41. Usually I'm about 35. More and more people wanting free food. There was plenty of tinned and dried foods left for next month so they can't have been that desperate.

IN came 3 x litre bottles of mayonnaise. That'll do for this summer's coleslaw & tuna mayo.
Had to go to Asda to buy a new kettle - I was down to my last, emergency kettle after 2 had given up the ghost in the last couple of months. I could have asked on the freebie site is anyone had an unwanted kettle but decided to treat myself. I think its the first thing I've bought this year (apart from food).

Out to a new gardening buddy (met her for the first time face to face) two tomato plants, some saved bean seeds and a couple of tromba seeds as she expressed an interest in trombas. She gave me some kohlrabi seedlings. Not sure what to do with kohlrabi either growing or eating, but I'll find out.
