I’ve pricked out lots of flowery things and sown seed.

This morning I went to the opticians for a sight test. The receptionist took my details including date of birth. When I told her the year, she told me that she thought I was a lot younger. My immediate thought was "You should have gone to Spec Savers!"
I didn't say it though as I was in Spec Savers. Big Grin
After that, I went to Morries and found some yellow stickers to keep me happy and then back home where the sun was shining. I've filled one wheelie bin with brambles and nettle roots which makes me very happy, even happier than yellow sticker shopping.

The thing that would make me happiest out of all that would be that they thought I had my date of birth wrong!!
Congrats.

You wouldn't be quite so happy when/if you got the bill for new glasses.

I've already paid for them - about £90 for 3 pairs including £10 for a scan of the back of my eyes. I only wear specs for reading/computer so don't need anything fancy or complex lenses. The benefits of having had cataract surgery and laser treatment. Big Grin

Took some more cardboard and covered one third of the fruit cage at the allotment. I've hand weeded the middle third and the last bit is near the entrance, so I'm thinking of taking my two blueberry plants down there and popping them in that area on some imaginary wood chip that I haven't been able to source yet.

Wiped out the condensation from the propagator lids.

!st day of the fishing season for trout on the reervoirs I fish. Walked Kato at 4.00am  this morning. I was at the waters edge at 6.00am. Fished until 1.15pm.

Caught three brown trout which were returned unharmed. If I had caught a Rainbow trout I would have kept it for my supper but brown trout have a chance to breed in the water so I put them back!
Supposed to be at an Abs Smasher workout this evening but did 14000 steps around reservoir in deep heather casting as i went, and I am aching all over so I am going to give it a miss. Rolleyes

I finally got something in the outside ground. Dug the ground then planted my onion sets. Stuttgarter and Centurion.
