I don’t care what I eat so OH does most of the cooking and the clearing up. I hate cooking, especially for anyone else. I used to do it all but since lockdown he’s done it more often and now does most. Suits me.

Never mind about dinner. I look at all the lovely recipes for bread, cakes, brownies and cookies and yearn to have a day baking (and eating), but there's no point . With both of us trying to get to a healthier weight and most recipes producing more than we can eat, baking is really a non-starter.

We write up a evening menu when we do the weekly shopping list so its input from us both.
Cooking is shared unless its something like MrB's tagliatelle and bol which he likes to make, me I like making soup.
Really its a matter of being happy with what you do.

On Sunday I had both boys here for dinner - I made apple and pear tart for dessert. Half of it went in the bin today. I often give half to my neighbours but they have been away.
Last week my cousin came to visit - I made chocolate brownie for them. Son No.1 took the remaining 99% of it to friends the same evening.
I'm better off doing something else with my time.

I usually spend an hour a night cooking dinner, unless I am working late and do a quick meal. Even then it will take at least half an hour.
Only real cheating happens when we do a takeout, but like tonight, he wants chippy, so brings me a fish home, but I prep roast potatoes or home made fries in the air fryer, and do mushy peas and carrots.

How many of you have got air fryers?
I haven’t bit the bullet (yet).
Are they generally thought to be a good thing?

Though I did obtain one by accident ( amazon kept delivering stuff to me that wasnt mine - this time as the box was so big I got really annoyed and said they had to come and collect - needless to say they didnt!) Anyway son number 2 loves to cook and I gave it to him for their student house. Its in use most days - and they make some good stuff. Not just chips.
