We went to Jay's mum's yesterday and the food was lovely She'd done both turkey and beef and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
We had friends over today, so had lots from a Swedish Christmas dinner, buffet style, and my south african friend brought a boneless leg of mutton. Bloody lovely. I was so stuffed it hurt for a while. No room for pudding, so I will have that for breakfast tomorrow, which is my first day where I can choose whatever I want to do! Yay! I'm going to spend it in the garden, if it's not raining. If it's raining, it will be catching up on paperwork before going to see Avatar 2 at the cinema

Well I often have my brother and family for dinner after my neighbours leave on Christmas day... they always pop over for fizz and nibbles at lunch, then my family turn up at 3...
I didnt ask my brother this year - i have been a bit shattered and felt I needed ti pur my feet up instead of rushing around cooking a huge dinner.
I bought a small chicken as was not going to pay thise inflated prices for a turkey....neighbours came at 11.30.... they left at 6pm, thankfully son no2 cooked the chicken with a huge pan of roasted veg and stuffing I had a lovely day even if I was a little hungover yesterday.
Yesterday I did rib of beef, dauphinois potatoes and veg ( sons request) no left overs.... thats what happens when you have kids!! I didnt even make a Christmas pudding this year.... but thoroughly enjoyed what we had!

Christmas Turkey dinner part deux today. This time I remembered the red cabbage and apple I had made but forgotten to put on plate the first time!
The reason for the days break was that I had rack of lamb at my Sons yesterday.
