Fishing today so no 'sitty down meal'
I did fry up two gammons steaks (44p for two, yellow sticker buys) and had them in sarnies with me while fishing!

B - Stewed apple & blackberries
L. Sourdough toast and jam
Packet of cheap crisps (10p) not very nice ones either.
Stirfried veggies - courgettes, sugarsnap and mushrooms in Tamarind sauce
Total 10p - should have saved my money!

Tonight will be steak, chips, peas, Onion rings, ( mushrooms & tomato for him ). Possibly a pepper sauce.
Followed by brownies. As it’s Bobs birthday, I should probably put a bit of effort in.

Happy birthday Bob, you now know what's for your birthday dinner. Sounds scrummy, as do all of SC's creations. Who's going to do the washing up?

I put beef mince with a chopped onion in the slow cooker before walking dog. Came back and added mushrooms, green and red peppers and a couple of carrots. No idea of what of what I will have with the concoction or whether I will add more stuff to it as it's cooking. Two basic things it could be a base for are chillie or spag bol? We shall see!

L Sourdough toast and marmite (5p)
A few raspberries
D. Stir fry Courgettes, sugarsnap peas, DFBs, mushrooms & carrots with a Satay sauce made from the end of a jar of peanut butter and some soy sauce. All free or from the garden.
