Fried lambs liver with onions and tatties from plot  . Liver was £1.40, tuther stuff was free.

Last night was watermelon, feta & rocket starter!
Followed by a small portion of leftover cold roast beef.
Tonight is smoked salmon risotto or pasta. Not decided yet.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

B. Stewed apple, blackberries and raspberries with a little granola for a bit of crunch.
L. Tuna mayonnaise and cucumber sandwiches (5p for the mayonnaise)
D. YS Salmon fillet (2 for £1.05 = 53p for one), steamed tenderstem broccoli and 6 DFBs
An Aldi ice cream (30p).
Total 88p - expensive day!!

I had an Aldi ice-cream too. I don't care about the price, they're scrummy, downside it was the last one until next shopping day and I had to share

Just cooked of a small pork crackling joint but instead of the usual Sunday dinner I am going to have it with a yellow sticker chinese stir fry.!

D. Yesterday's leftover salmon fillet (53p) in a stirfry of courgettes, sugarsnap peas and mushrooms with soy sauce.
Total 83p.

Yesterday our usual tagliatelle and bol, this evening saag aloo, rice, sourdough naans, mint/yoghurt dip and chutney.

Love these - I usually leave out the cheese as I don't have feta but shavings of any cheese on top of the fritters work well.
