Swallowtail butterfly caterpillar - they've been struggling this year because the dill and fennel have been going to seed so quickly there's not been a lot of leaf.

My neighbouring geese, I counted 38 white ones today, there are also a flock of grey and white from last year so there’s a gander and 5 geese and they have about 10 young goslings which are just loosing their yellow face feathers but I don’t have a photo of them.
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.

This was an a surprise find while I was cleaning the game’s room at work today.
A common pipistrelle bat.
Poor little thing was covered in cobwebs. So I removed as many as I could and took him outside so he could fly off when he was ready and find himself some food.

Collecting some compost this morning on the newest bin I noticed a very very big bumble buzzing frantically carrying around two smaller bumbles on her back. It was either mating or attacking. At lunch I goggled it. Obviously mating, the poor thing had 3 males acosting her.
