IN came some plants - blue and yellow Irises, Galtonia and lavender seedlings. Also some more Tins of food, mostly soups and vegetables and 3 tins of tuna!! You can never have too many tins or tuna, nor, it seems chopped tomatoes! They seem to be the tins that people buy and then giveaway..............and another tin of spaghetti in tomato sauce. Its time I dropped them off at a food bank collection point as even the dogs aren't that keen on it.
There was a bag of quinoa, a jar of pesto and some Weetabix too.
Every little helps the Moneyless Chicken to save her pennies and buy seeds instead.

OUTs today. Would you believe I've accumulated 7 tins of spaghetti/macaroni cheese and someone wanted them! Pushing my luck I left some other odds and ends outside that I've been given as part of a job lot - a wicker wine carrier, a sand painting, tin mug, lidded bowl painted with fish, a chrome mug tree, some books and a packet of loose tea (unopened - its not that loose). Left a note saying to take anything they fancied...........and they took the lot.
If I known it would be that easy I'd have left more junk.

INs today. Food - Packs of paninis, cheese rolls, Blueberry muffins, 2 bags of celery sticks, a bag of curly kale and a tub of Guacamole.
Also a "Grow Kit. Plant your own flowers". One of those packaged gifts you give to your old Auntie when you can't think of anything else. Attractive box containing 3 earthenware flowerpots, 3 compost discs, 3 wooden plant labels and a minimal quantity of lavender, pansy and sweet pea seeds, To complete it, the tiniest rake and trowel that you've ever seen!

IN came some sourdough bread - to be exact, 2 ciabatta loaves and 2 Rye loaves. I had a choice of anything I wanted from 3 binbags of bread - there were 6 to start with. Don't know how this Bakery makes a profit as there always seem to be bags of bread being given away every day.
OUT went a pair of shorts (too small and my legs would frighten the horses). The shorts are being picked up tomorrow and we're also swapping books. No idea what she'll bring me but we've swapped before.

OUT go some more Karcher pressure washer attachments, found lurking in the garage.
Too hot to contemplate going out to collect INs.

OUT went a dozen jam jars I'd been hoarding ready for a jam session. These went to a lady who intends to make blackberry jam to sell for a charity - not sure which one yet!

Its been a very good day for INs.
The almost full bag of bark, a very large rubber mat that I'm going to use as a weed suppressor, some pork chops and 2 packs of apple and strawberries and finally, a 5 drawer freezer for the garage to replace the existing 4 drawer one (which will become a spare for emergencies).

I forgot to mention a bag of toiletries - the sort you get in hotels (shower wash, shampoo, conditioner hand/body cream and a bar of soap.
That's a few more weeks of staying clean for free.

Not much to report today!
IN came a pallet from the lady who gave me the rubber mat yesterday. She lives down the road a bit but it would have been too heavy to carry back home. Had to go out in the car to pick up wormer & flea stuff for the dogs and a prescriptions from the chemists so it wasn't off my route.
Incidentally, when I was in the chemist the man at the head of the queue (a queue of two, him and me), said to the assistant, "Serve the young lady first". Having checked that there wasn't anyone else in the shop, I asked him to repeat it because I liked what he'd said. He said he was going to say "young chick" but thought I'd object! I nearly, very nearly, told him that I've been known as Veggie Chicken and now, I'm the Moneyless Chicken, but I kept quiet, otherwise I might still be there trying to explain it!
OUT went a pot for storing garlic in, as somebody had asked for one. One more bit of clutter gone.
