It was going to be veggie burgers with salad instead I cooked pasta, mushrooms and Stilton.

Almost forgot I made a batch custard cream biscuits today. Never made them before. They’re very nice and easy to make. 100% nicer than brought ones. I won’t eat them.

Tonight we’re having a starter of leek & potato soup with a garnish of pan fried babington leek  . Followed by pasta pesto
I’m going to be making the pasta ( first time of trying) . Will let you know how it goes.
Just made wild garlic & nettle pesto.

https://bakingwithgranny.co.uk/recipe/custard-creams/ SC, going to have a go at these when I have time but can I ask did you put the mixture straight on to baking tray as per recipe or did you use grease proof paper or would that stop them from crisping up on the bottom?
