Last night a tray bake of bulgar, leeks, onions, garlic, tomatoes with feta crumbled on top after cooking. Not convinced as the leeks were pretty strong, but that might just be because it is the end of the season.

Some frozen xmas sausagemeat with added fennel seeds made into meatballs in a tomatoey sauce also from the freezer. Easy peasy.

No teenager in the house today, so we'll have a chilli out of the freezer (she doesn't like mexican food). I'll make some home made refried beans and rice to go with it.

Faggots not had them for years not since our butcher who made his own closed but thought I'd give these a go. Having them with mashed potatoes, mushy peas and gravy.

Wonky jacket potatoes (2 because they're smaller than your average jacket spud) with a yellow sticker tub of King Prawn cocktail in a seafood sauce (down from £2 to 20p  ). Luckily, it was very nice - because I bought 3 tubs.
