I pricked out some blue ice Dutchess Asters and potted up a Sun and ice dahlia for cuttings, I didn't realise that the colours were quite similar till I chucked the aster seed packet down on the bench beside the photo of the dahlia

Usually I don't do cut flowers but these were the pinching outs of my bedding dahlias.

You're cruel, there was I proud of some flowers and you cut me down  and anyway I'd need a bigger bottle. FYI it's a yellow vase that matches the yellow sunflower themed kitchen
