My Sisters boyfriend works in a pie factory and landed home with a huge bag of stewing steak that was left over at the end of a pie making run. I scrounged some and cooked it off whilst cooking other stuff yeaterday. I just need to warm it up in the oven now and with a selection of veg I will prepare to have a ready made Sunday dinner!

Another way to use my freebie beef...........beef curry.
I think I added as much stuff with a short shelf life from the fridge as I could and went through my herbs and spices. Went a bit heavy on the ginger but the star of the show was the 1/3rd of a fresh pineapple I added! A couple of mini nans helped to temper the heat though.

Tonight's Yellow Sticker Special has 3 descriptions on the packet!
1. Butternut Squash, Tomato & Pasta
2. Robust & Hearty with Butter beans, Courgette and Pepper in a Herby Tomato Sauce
3. Roasted vegetables in a tomato, onion and basil sauce, served with cooked wholewheat Orzo pasta, topped with parsley.
Whatever its supposed to be, it tastes alright and, at 35p, I'm not going to argue about what it is.
