The beetroot thingies were really nice (Vegan), part of Morries Christmas specials.
"Deliciously rich, made with beetroot, red peppers, sundried tomato paste and toasted hazelnuts. wrapped in a crisp beetroot crumb with a sachet of Pomegranate Glaze". Was £3 now 75p - unsuitable for freezing. Guess who just pulled them out of the freezer. Absolutely nothing wrong with them. The rest of the beetroot bites with coucous from the back of the cupboard, soy sauce and a sprinkling of toasted sesame seeds that had fallen off some of the sourdough rolls.
Lunchtime, I mixed some precooked blackpeas (from the freezer) with a chopped onion (starting to sprout) and a tin of chopped tomatoes. I'll be having the rest of that tomorrow with the leftover couscous from tonight.

Roast chicken potatoes kale broad beans carrots and beetroot yesterday.
Rice chorizo and leftover roast chicken today.

Homemade biltong on toast topped with a fried egg.
I liked it, Bob wasn’t convinced.
