I dug a half a drill of potatoes Sarpo Miris I think they were called, a pink skinned spud, this gave me a full bucket of spuds. Really pleased with them. Only a few smallies.
I also took delivery of a trailer load of logs, they were tipped up in the yard, I managed to move about half of them inside into mini skip bags, about 2 tonne in 1 bag and 1 tonne in the other, covered the rest with tarpaulin.
Went for a spin down onto the bog on my quad.
Then a Chinese takeaway for dinner with a few beers, and watch a bit of telly with the missus.
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.

Promoted to Housekeeper from cleaner ! The housekeeper resigned today.

Congratulations SC hope it also means a pay rise .  Next step Domestic Engineering Consultant with your skills the sky's the limit.

Of course I'm nosy! Aren't they beautiful properties,  if only you could guarantee the weather. A full time job getting those up to standard after each letting, rather you than me.

Very, very niche, but a chap called Dave Ryding has won the Kitzbuhel World Cup slalom today.
It is the first win of his long career.
He did it on arguably the toughest piste on the tour.
He's the first British World Cup winner in over 50 years.
He's the oldest ever winner of a World Cup slalom.
He learned to ski on a short artificial dry slope in Lancashire and doesn't come from a wealthy winter sports background.
Just goes to show that hard work and dedication can pay off.
