I thought this was some kind of Vetch - but my neighbour doesn't think so. I've looked online and I think the leaves aren't right. So it's really bugging me.
We go for dog walks at the fields behind us ( my neighbour has always taken ours when he does his dog walk as he no longer has a dog) so a win win for ours as they get double walks
Anyway there's a crop field that has been thickly edged with this?
What do you think?

The plant is a bit wilted - but look at the leaves. All the leaves start from a central point. They don't grow along the stem?
The flowers and pods are a perfect match.

I think Jimny's right, it's a blue lupin grown for forage. I found it on a website but have no idea how to insert a web page in a post .

Definitely lupin leaves! Thank you it is Blue lupin. I was sure it was vetch until the neighbour said - strange leaves for vetch and left the plant on my wall yesterday for me to check. He will be chuffed that I had it wrong
