I've had a mix of prezzies something to read, watch, eat, drink and enough bathroom bubble/soaps to last the year.
No gardening items this year.

Hi everyone,

Sorry to pop in here first after being away, but I prefer to upload photos from the laptop and I'll have plenty of time on the phone later.

I had quite a haul this year, which is rather an embarrassment of riches. My husband bought me a beautiful new sewing machine to replace the one that sounded like an old chugging steam engine (despite being a modern sewing machine...) and my mom got me the pleasingly title Psychedelic Salad mix of veggie seeds Smile among other things. They all collaborated, although my dad did the design and build, on a seed box. I think it was technically a birthday present (December 24 Smile ), but I wanted to brag on my dad a bit Smile Please excuse the poor lighting, which really doesn't show up the lilac carving or the wood to best advantage.

That’s beautiful. I love that  Heart  . You brag away about your dad’s talent. Just awesome.

Now of course you have to do your dad proud and fill it with seeds  Big Grin .

What a beautiful box! Your dad is very talented - the lilac is gorgeous. Such a lovely present - destined to be a family heirloom, I think.

Superb DJ, you're quite right to be proud of your dad. Wood carving seems to have gone out of fashion, both my grandparents were quite keen but it's quite unusual these days. Such a lovely box.
