Do you lose sleep wondering what to do with those leftover slivers of soap? You may also worry about those odd socks that lurk in your drawers
Allow me to introduce the "Soap Sock".
Drop the soap into the toe of the sock and that's it. I'm using mine in the shower but you could use it anywhere, even in public. Easy to wash too as you can just put it in with all the other washing in the machine.

I do that too but one box of offcuts had slivers that were too small to use and in strange bendy shapes and I've been wondering how to use them. I had one of those ?sisal soap bags but they're far too rough for someone as delicate as I am. Felt like washing with a Brillo pad.

Has anyone tried making deodorant?
Bought ones come in plastic holders or aerosols. I've tried the Wild ones with a reusable holder but at £6 a refill its too expensive, so I'm going to have a try at making my own.
Just wondered if anyone had a recommended recipe before I start playing about with the tub of coconut oil, bicarb and cornflour that I've found in the cupboard

No idea. But I agree completely the eco friendly products are so expensive. I’m sorry to say it’s one thing I’ve not tried. It’s taken so many year to find an unfriendly one that actually works for me. I’m not quite ready to try more expensive one that may not work for me.
I’d be very interested in your experiments.

These are the ingredients :-
I've made half quantities as I didn't have much baking soda/bicarb. Feels a bit oily, maybe the hot weather, so I added more cornflour, as I have plenty of that. Haven't decided what essential oil to add yet - not sure what I have. I know there's Eucalyptus but that may be a bit strong?
