I have had a cough and sore throat since Monday but all the laterial flow tests have been negative. In order to stop panic in people around me, I have been isolating to a degree, I still walk to the allotment.

On a side note Boss, I had a cold when I went for my flu jab. I took a lateral flow test which was negative so thought I was clear.  The doctor giving the jab said that LFTs are no good if you have symptoms of any sort but as I didn't have a temperature it was unlikely I had covid and she was happy to let me in and have the jab. I didn't realise the LFTs were that restricted.

Had a surprise today - there was a "House For Sale" sign on my gatepost!!! It should have been on next door's house!
Rang the estate agent and asked them to remove it immediately and, whilst I was in the front garden, a neighbour came along and asked when I was moving! They don't miss much around here.
The sign's been moved now, thankfully.
Just cleaned the chooks house out, in between downpours. Not my favourite job but Mr Greedy Hotbin is always grateful for their contribution.

Bright out but very parky. Trying to hold out with the shorts but getting a bit drafty round the nether regions!

Got some winter pansies to plant out today and I am thinking of planting them around fruit trees planted in pots.
More tidying up to do and depart a little bit from Tuna Tuesday as I bought some reduced cod portions yesterday.  They are still fish so don't feel too bad. Might even utilise some of my allotment spuds and make some chips and salad to go with them.
 It would have been Helen's birthday tomorrow so just been to florist and picked up  wreath/bouquet of flowers to add to her grave. I intend devoting a bit of my time with her tomorrow.

Today I’m actually aloud out of isolation! Only to go and pick up my PCR test kit. Looks very much like Covid Bob (his new official title ) has shared it with me! Spending a week sleeping on the sofa hasn’t helped. To add insult to injury, Covid Bobs isolate ends tomorrow, even if I have now got it.
