This afternoon. I found the chicken dustbathing in the middle of them, having eaten all the leaves first.
Ah well, she'll have a full crop, even if I don't. My fault for not blocking the door - can't blame her for wanting a hot bath.
You might get some nice purple eggs Veggie?

I wish!!
She's a pensioner and has forgotten how to lay. She sits in the nest box and clucks a lot as if she's laying. Then hops out and squawks as if to say, "Come and see what I've laid......" but its just talk.!

Evening all, I had a nice afternoon out with the wife collecting my free compost and FYM, then weeding if that can be considered enjoyable now sitting back watching who wants to be a millionaire

Evening all!
Just come in, apart from cooking and eating tea, I've been working in the garden all day
New 8 x 15ft veg bed is covered with compost and ready to go phew! Just the path to tidy up tomoz, but my back has been telling me it's had enough since about 3pm - so thought I'd better call it quits. Bet I'll be sore in the morning, but it was worth doing
Enjoy what's left of the evening

Hi all, I'm jealous of you all that have been in the garden all day. It's not been a bad day here, but now the fog is so thick it feels like it's raining when I go outside. I've just picked rhubarb for my colleagues, composted the leaves. I had to do some housework as a colleague in my 'bubble' is coming here for socially distanced tea tomorrow night. Only just sat down after a long day and a busy evening. Phew.

Evening, late on parade today but just wanted to say hello!
Ordered a new parasol for our table...got an email to say it had been delivered in good condition. Goodness know where it’s been delivered to but it certainly wasn’t here!!
Hope you all had a lovely day! Off to bed, see you all in the morning. x

Good Moro, trying to persuade myself to go outside but, it’s raining. I like the rain, And being wet just not keen on feeling damp.
We have loads of descriptive words for rain, but expletives for hot.
