Ok so any references to the first?
Not so I'd noticed, those who saw the first might have recognised the courtroom scene but it stood alone OK.
Having googled they say series two is a complete new story.

Enjoyed the first series of Prodigal Son. Second season starting soon but I'll wait until the 2nd season is ended before watching the lot, rather than waiting for a week between episodes.

I watched Mare of Easttown, I liked it at the start, Kate Winslet was great, but I got a bit bored by the end but then again I get bored easily watching TV.

Yes we're watching it. We must have missed it the first time round. Last episode tonight. Occasionally need subtitles

joking apart it is a brilliant drama. I am always facinated how the dress the 1940/50 sets and Martin Compston outside of Line of Duty is novel.
