I do love a spreadsheet. It makes me think I've achieved something. Fingers crossed Danny, good job you like tomatoes

I do love a spreadsheet.  It makes me think I've achieved something.

I'm a bit of a spreadsheet fiend - I find them very useful for organising lists of seeds, etc, and I even do planting layouts for my raised beds, since they are all nice neat rectangles!

I do love a spreadsheet too, I have many   I use LibreOffice Draw for my allotment beds planting plan.

Sort of - I write out the planting date, quantity, etc in my gardening notebook, since once they're done I can't change them. My planned layout, on the other hand, is very much subject to change, which is why I keep it in electronic format:

   

I do a month-by-month plan, as recommended by Huw Richards, as it allows me to see more easily where gaps are going to open up, and thus keep the beds full all year round as much as possible.

(This is in Mac Numbers - we use Macs for work because we're an academic institute, so I switched a long time ago!)

This is what mine looks like. Blue, green, pink are colour codes for crop rotation groups. Yellow more permanent beds.

I abhor spreadsheets. It reminds me too much of when I was working for a living.
