Grew Purple Sun last year. Germination was rubbish but the carrots were nice. I preferred them to orange carrots, they have an extra depth of flavour, perhaps a bit beetrooty.

Do they keep there colour when they are cooked?
The white and yellow ones do, I think the purple did too but a bit faded. The red not so much. They are all of course more vibrant raw.
