I grew Zebrune last year and had a very good crop. I had to be patient as germination was very slow and erratic although I sowed mine outside in a blowaway middle of March so may have been a bit chilly for them tbf, they all came through in the end. As you say very tasty and store well too, we're still eating them now although coming to an end. Multisowing 3-4 in each module worked for me.

Have grown all of those from seed in the past Danny. The Lavender was too 'sprawly' (Should have went for Munstead) the Sea Kale grew well but was annihilated by pigeons, and the walking stick kale stems were more like Gandalfs staff than a walking stick. Big Grin

I sowed a few tomato seeds in my propogator they were some seeds Veggie sent me last year, I’ve never grown tomatoes from seed before. I’ve brought the propogator in to the kitchen window sill to see if the heat and light can start them growing.
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.

You'll never buy tomato plants again!
im listing here what Ive sowed over the last couple of weeks - I sometimes like to check when I started stuff..and it's easy to find here!

Salvia x superba, 'Rose Queen'
Verbena hastata, 'Pink Spires'
Penstemon barbatus, 'Twizzle' Series, 'Twizzle White'
Callistephus chinensis, 'Duchesse Coral Rose'
Eryngium planum, 'White Glitter'
Eryngium - TMTT
Phlox - cherry caramel
Scabious Blue - DJ
Scabious stellata
Pink echinacea - VC ( 2019)
white Echinacea
Lupin - SC - not sure why I've sown more - have about 20 growing from her last years seeds Smile they are short lived here though. So good to keep them going.
sweet peas - DJ
Larkspur
Cornflowers
Clary Sage

could kick myself as a few seeds that were on my "want" list I had gifted at Christmas - then I had similar in our seed swap!! I've sown both amazing that TMTT seeds of Eryngium popped up in a couple of days - still waiting on the bought ones.
There are more ...forgotten already.

I am a bit disgruntled as only one of the Trinidad Perfume I sowed has germinated. Angry I haven't lost all hope, but it germinated three days ago, Rolleyes without any more to follow. All my Soup Celery have germinated, all of what looks like a thousand plants! All six of my  Jalapeno's have germinated also with about 30 Cape gooseberries (only need a couple.) Smile

Ok my lavender is "common english?" got about a 1000 seeds so no drama if I'm a little early.

Good to hear your results with the Sale Kale (notwithstanding the pigeons), and Walking Stick Kale, I thinkSmile
