Anyone can  make a resolution like........I'm going to give up.??????? in 2021 and they usually fail before February.
What about making some crazy resolutions instead?

I have one.............to sow every seed that I find inside a shop bought fruit or vegetable - like citrus fruits,  melons, avocados - all the things I don't grow myself.
I'm starting with 4 tangerine pips.

I wish you all  a Happy New Year and hope for a better 2021. The past year was a difficult year in many ways, but being gardeners whither good or bad, knowledgeable or not we can all look forward to hopefully doing that wee bit better and if not remember there's always next year

I have a small 8x6 greenhouse on my allotment plot. Along one side I grow tomatoes . Along the other side I have a bench running the full length and in the past, as well as using it for starting stuff like leeks , onions and brassicas in seed trays, I usually fill it with large pots of chillies and peppers.
This year I have come to the conclusion I don't really need all these chillies and peppers and I was wanting to try summat else for a change? It doesn't have to be a single veg and I am not averse to growing flowers.

I just wondered whether you lot had any ideas of what to grow that was interesting and possibly productive on the greenhouse bench during the summer?

I would like to grow some chrysants this coming year it has been number of years since I last grew them, so need to buy some, sadly all the people that I knew that went in for them are no longer here, so looking for recommendations of growers, not fussy about a big name grower as a long as they have early varieties and do mail order, the lates need protection here and I don't have the space for that T. I. A.
