Because of your prompt, I dug out a packet of viola seeds and sowed them yesterday. There were only thirteen seeds in the packet ( some fancy type called “Bunny Ears”), so I’m not expecting to have even enough to fill a small trough.
Oooh maybe I'll sort out some Pansy seeds, usually forget, thanks Can.
Sowed some things for autumn and winter cropping...pak choi, mibuna, mizuna, radish, winter radish, chard, tatsoi, spinach, Chinese cabbage and lettuce. Tomorrow I'll try to find some space to direct sow some kailaan.
Yesterday - carrots, january king, collards, wonk bok and a big batch of beetroot (di Chioggis, Cylindra & Bull's Blood).
I'll look out some pansy & viola seeds, tomorrow too, thanks Can.
I've just ordered some violas too and will get them sown. I'm taking inspiration from you all on what I can sow right now - thank you Smile
Must put in a few winter beetroot at the weekend I’m sure there are some seeds in the box.
Last week I sowed some peas from 2 over ripe pods, just to see if I could get some late season peas. Hey presto I have little shoots for planting out on Saturday
Sowed my Spinach/Chard/Mustard seeds for August according to My New Cunning Plan. https://gardenandgossip.org/showthread.p...7#pid28467
About 10/12 seeds of each into a 6 section Module. They'll live out their life in the GH or in Pots and I hope to eat them all by the end of November.
"Leaf Beet" Chard/ Perpetual Spinach
Giant Winter Spinach
Swiss Chard Biona di Lione
Spinach "Amazon"
Rhubarb Chard "Intense"
Mustard "Frizzy Lizzy"

Didn’t get to plant these out because of the rain yesterday hopefully today.
