What pigeons? Insects have a bit of a nibble.
Wot no pigeons! Ah but I bet you have midges
. I got eaten alive yesterday, some even bit me down my drawers!

Down your Baggy bloomers?
Which reminds me.....isn't Chest of Drawers a strange expression?
Actually they bit me where 'you park your bike'! Bending over obviously exposed ripe flesh
. About the only creature that would dare go there.
Bluebird is looking for the midges!
just in the right place. Luckily the bites don't last long, not like some critters that bite in the garden, you can be scratching for days.
Is this comp back on again this year? It better be and add the tallest sunflower to the list please
I have just bought some sunflower seeds called Giant Skyscraper (4 metres+) in an effort to beat my next door neighbour.
With the winds we get around here it may be four metres horizontally though!
I don’t see why there can’t be a sunflower competition again this year.
I’ll leave the new competition thread & categories up to someone else. I’m not growing any this year & I’m going to be a little busy.
I look forward to seeing everyone’s entries
