I'm patiently waiting to join in. My largest sunflower got cold in the cold snap in May and I thought it was a goner. Now its stalk is as big around as a broom handle and it's working on surpassing me in height, but no flowers yet. Fingers crossed Smile
My best two sunflowers.  The others have lost their petals and look very sad.

Two of my sunflower plants sharing the one pot got hammered in the recent high winds, they lost all their petals and now look a sorry sight. I managed to salvage the other 2 plants despite one of the stems breaking off.
Here’s the multi headed sunflower starting to flower.

It is beautiful SC  Heart
Considering adding a late to the party category  Big Grin .
This fella is self seeded. I didn’t think he was going to come to much as he appeared so late in the season. So I didn’t bother to stake it or anything. It’s now laying across the path then standing up.

Your kale looks great, SC. Smile
I agree Veggie, kale look really great, competition standard. SC how do you keep pigeons and insects at bay? My kale under mesh is still hokey and yellowing.
