Aren’t you tempted by the “eastern star”, Scarlet?
Says “excellent for cutting”
Eastern star's on Scarlet's "liked" list.Big Grin

Oops - that one went on the wrong side!

I love the look of the slipper flower but it says perfect for a house plant. As my kitchen has changed I no longer have my deep windowsill- the rest of the house doesn't have anywhere for potted plants.
The others are a bit small for my garden and I'm too busy enjoying my cut flower growing to focus on anything else. This is the first year I've grown most of the plants that I have started off. I was very good on controlling numbers and passing on seedlings early to concentrate on what I could possibly manage to get into the garden.

My phone broke a while back and I've not been able to take any photos - I've had 2 replacements since... all dodgy cameras. I'm hoping my new phone thag I get on Friday will work! I'm so lost without a phone.... but I will update my thread with my flower photos laterWink
The bells of Ireland I had this year also had that note about poor germination on the back. I managed a reasonable amount to germinate - just enough to fill the spot I had got ready - but it was very sporadic. I wonder how many will pop next year? I've never saved seed of those - but will try one or two stems this year.
Sorry... another post.... it's very nice getting a random selection. I love the whole research the seed thing and it's so good to try something that you wouldn't normally choose.

That's why I like buying them! If you wait until later in the year they reduce the price too - about November IIRC. I don't feel bad about buy 50 or 100 packets at a time, its still cheaper than buying a few full price seeds from the likes of T&M and they're fresher too.  Most of the seeds are of interest, even if I never get round to sowing them  Blush. Any that I don't want go to a seed swap, either here or locally.

I couldn't find that mix on a general search on my phone though - I had to click the link you put up which I thought was strange.
Its your phone!! You said it wouldn't take photos - well it also can't search for Bargain Basement!!

I've ended up purchasing 2 different perennial kales, again!

Also popped into one of those cash converter shops and they had a petrol strimmer, may pop back Friday!
TMTT tempted me and the Moneyless Chicken fell of her perch and dipped her claws into the egg money to buy:-
30 packs of Vegetables, 20 packs of Herbs and 5 of Flowers. 55 packets for £13 21 including P&P which is...........24p a packet.
I was so impressed that I've dipped into the egg money again and ordered some more. Big Grin
