Today's progress.

Gravelled main path . White gates opened to see more!

    Looking back to GH3.

New path from GH2 to GH3 using the slabs from the path that was a bit further uphill.

    From GH3 to GH2

The new "bed" possibly for strawberries as its south facing.

Planted a minibed with some Clove pinks that I split off one plant last year.

Next job is to clear the top of the slope by the bay tree but that can wait for a while.Smile

You don’t hang around do you! That’s a huge change in a day. It looks really good. But it doesn’t look “new”. Looks like it’s always been there Cool . How did you manage that ?
I believe you now need a nice drink of something cold and a slice of cake while you admire your hard work  Smile .

I'd like to know what P thinks about it. Big Grin
The best bit is - apart from buying the gravel for the path (and most of that was in broken bags sold cheap) - it hasn't cost anything. Hoping to have enough of the log edging to edge the top of the new path so that it echoes the bottom path. There'll be a bit of rock shuffling to do and lots more montbretia to pull up.
Its getting there now.

Moved up a level today! Only one more length of log edging left - and that's damaged. So I acquired exactly the right amount from the free site. Big Grin

Ted is refusing to walk on the gravel - must hurt his paws, so he take short cuts across the rockery. Hope he stops that once the strawberries are there.
They like sitting on the paving slab path and generally, getting in the way!
