Feeding garlic and onions

The question is should I? They were planted in the Autumn and are growing well. I wondered if in order to get some big cloves from the Garlic I should give them a feed of some sort.
All suggestions gratefully received, thanks.

I give my garlic a generous dose of potash and my onions are fed with BFB and or chicken manure.

I was always taught to feed onions like brassicas

A timely reminder to give my garlic a bit of TLC, although perhaps not today as it's chucking it down. Thanks all.

Thanks. I will give them some wood ash and a bit of fertilizer.

I gave mine some BFBM and chicken manure pellets last weekend.
