The past 2 years when I have grown cucumber they have been in pots and placed in the back right hand corner of the greenhouse, the greenhouse runs north - south, so that position is slightly shaded but having altered my benches I can no longer grow them there, so would there be any problems if I grow them in the same bed as the tomatoes, this bed is on the left hand (West) side of the greenhouse and full sun, when it's out, growing outside is not an option.

I always grow my cucumbers & tomatoes in the same bed. In the polytunnel, with sun on it most of the day. Never had a problem.

Same as SC but I usually plant them where they're not going to get tangled up in the toms - end of row.-

You can always use shading I had to last year when it was really hot a couple of my cucs started to droop in full sun. Either Debris netting or fleece would do it.

Same as everyone above, I grow cucs in both NE and SW bed anywhere there's room. They can droop but soon recover.

Last year I grew cucumbers for the first time along with bush tomatoes together in the same raised bed in a poly tunnel, full sunshine on the tunnel. Bloody cucumbers took off up to the roof of the tunnel and onto the support wires.
