Its 2025 - here we go for another year of plants and fun.

Open Sesame!

Up very early this morning and very reticent! I need to be at boot camp at 9.00 for an hours session then half an hour boxing.. Kato's long walk first though then de-ice the car.
First excercise session for a fortnight so not relishing it!

Bought a new suite yesterday. A two seater sofa for me because I sprawl and a chair for himself. I wouldn't have thought it would be so difficult to get a high backed summat. At 6'3' ish P likes to have something to lean his head back onto. Not quite going for riser recliners yet, although in time that may come but have gone for power recliner, power adjustable head rests and lumbar adjustment. Also looking at new cars. I think I need a lie down with a damp bank statement on my forehead to reduce financial stress.

Have chosen a long lead time for the furniture to give us time to decorate, choose a new carpet and declutter. Frightening!

Does the Prawn lady not do furniture, carpets and cars  as well?

Nope - but I have given her a couple of rugs after her dog dug a hole in the middle of the carpet.

Prawn Lady might do, but she's in Cardiff, I'm  in Salisbury. I wish I had a prawn lady.

Nope, no lottery unfortunately.  Just a mind set of if we think we need it do it/buy it. You can't take it with you    also if it might make life easier in the long run (not necessarily in the short term) then get it done. I've started going through cupboards to declutter.  I didn't know I had so many glasses! I've also found an over 40 yr old opened bottle of liqueur, I'm girding my loins and taste buds to give it a taste. It's probably like paint stripper.
