Shall we re-write the Twelve Days of Christmas making it appropriate for gardeners? The twelve days start on Christmas Day, 25th, and end January 5th.

Ten lords a-leaping,
Nine ladies dancing,

Six geese a-laying,
Five golden rings,
Four calling birds,
Three French hens,
Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree!


What would you like to receive On your First Day of Christmas instead of a "Partridge in a Pear tree".  Rolleyes
