The weather here sounds similar to SCs?  We have had two 'named storms recently but this un-named version is far worse,with strong winds and horizontal rain which feels like you are being pebbledashed when out in it.  A sideways gust nearly blew poor Kato in front of a car when I had him out this afternoon!

We have drizzle and considerably less windy. Don’t have to fight to stand still. Still flipping cold.

Yesterday was quite pleasant. Saw the sun. Which was pleasantly warm between gusts of the cold wind.
So it was quite surprising to wake up to snow this morning
