Unashamedly pinching a Subscription Box idea (5 packets of flower seeds to sow each month in order to grow and make bunches of flowers to give away -  £30 a month for the pleasure).
I suggest that we do something similar at a much lower price (unless you want to send me £30 a month for the idea Wink).

Tell us what flower seeds you plan to sow during the month - preferably cheap, easily available and easy to grow seeds. Then we each decide which 5 flowers we'll sow and, of course, grow them. In a few months time, when we have some actual flowers, we'll share some bouquet photos with each other and boast about how well we've done.
We can start this month, even though we're a week into September but, probably better to work a month in advance to give ourselves time to find the seeds!

Hope this makes sense! If it does, its a miracle. Big Grin

I think that all makes sense. I have no idea what could be sown next month. Some research needed.

I still don't quite get it, but I had a look through my flower seeds and I do have five packets I can sow:

Ammi majus "Graceland"
Cornflower "Blue Ball"
Cornflower "Black Ball"
Nigella "Light Blue"
Gypsophila

... so I guess I'm in.

I might collect some calendula seeds tomorrow as well, although I usually just let them self-seed where they fancy.

The simple version is:-
We sow 5 different flower seeds a month.
We share their progress.
We pick the flowers next year and post photos of our bunches.

Sown my £30 worth  Big Grin . I went a bit off piste with my selection    Big Grin . Corncockle pink, cornflower black ball, calendula Indian prince, larkspur sublime lilac and alstroemeria.

I was very close to getting over excited and sowing lots more.  Big Grin .
